Title:
AIR CONDITIONER AND CONTROL METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/228513
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This air conditioner comprises: gas-side refrigerant piping that connects a user-side heat exchanger and a heat source-side heat exchanger; liquid-side refrigerant piping that connects the user-side heat exchanger and the heat source-side heat exchanger; a gas side shutoff mechanism arranged in the gas-side refrigerant piping; a liquid-side shutoff mechanism arranged in the liquid-side refrigerant piping; and a control unit that performs a refrigerant recovery operation when refrigerant leakage is detected, wherein the gas-side shutoff mechanism allows the refrigerant to flow in both directions in an energized state and allows the refrigerant to flow only from the user-side heat exchanger side to the heat source-side heat exchanger side in a de-energized state, the liquid-side shutoff mechanism allows the refrigerant to flow in both directions in an energized state and allows the refrigerant to flow only from the user-side heat exchanger side to the heat source-side heat exchanger side in a de-energized state, and the control unit de-energizes the gas-side shutoff mechanism during the refrigerant recovery operation. As a result, the air conditioner can energize to an open state only one of the gas-side shutoff mechanism and the liquid-side shutoff mechanism during operation.
