Abstract:
In this air conditioner, a compressor (1) for compressing and discharging a cooling medium, a condenser (2) for performing heat exchange between the cooling medium discharged from the compressor (1) and a heat-source side fluid, an expansion valve (3) for reducing the pressure of the cooling medium from the condenser (2), and a first evaporator (6) for performing sensible-heat removal on the usage-side air by exchanging heat with the cooling medium are joined in an annular configuration by cooling-medium pipelines (11-16). The air conditioner is further provided with an ejector (5) (pressure-increasing mechanism) installed between the expansion valve (3) and the first evaporator (6), bypass pipelines (17-19) connecting a branching part (10) between the expansion valve (3) and the ejector (5) to a junction part (5A) of the ejector (5), a second evaporator (7) installed between the bypass pipelines (18, 19), and an adjustment expansion valve (4) installed between the bypass pipelines (17, 18) between the branch part (10) and the second evaporator (7).
