Abstract:
An air conditioner wherein an outdoor unit having a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, and an expansion valve and an indoor unit having an indoor heat exchanger are connected by means of inside/outside connecting piping, thereby forming a refrigerant circuit, and a flammable refrigerant is used as the refrigerant flowing in the refrigerant circuit. The outdoor unit is provided with a dedicated refrigerant charging connection port for charging the refrigerant and provided inside a machine compartment accommodating the compressor and the expansion valve, and a dedicated evacuation connection port for drawing out refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit by vacuum and provided outside of the machine compartment.
