Abstract:
Provided is an air conditioner capable of detecting, with high accuracy, a refrigerant leak on a heat exchanger chamber side. The present invention provides: a refrigerant detection duct 40, two ends of which open to a heat exchanger chamber 14 and an air blower chamber 13, respectively; and a refrigerant detection sensor 46 that senses the refrigerant inside the refrigerant detection duct 40. When viewed from the direction of a rotating shaft 35 of a sirocco fan 30, an air blower chamber-side opening 44 of the refrigerant detection duct 40 is disposed in a region overlapping a region of a semi-circle section of a fan opening part 32 further on a suction port 16 side beyond a virtual vertical line passing through the rotation shaft 35.
