Abstract:
An air purification device is provided with: a body case (2) having an air flow passage (7) providing communication between an intake opening (6) and a discharge opening (8); a front panel (10) mounted to the intake opening (6) of the body case (2); an air delivery fan (3) for delivering air through the air flow passage (7); a filter (4) provided in the air flow passage (7); a housing case (14) which is provided at a position next to an outer peripheral section of the filter (4) and which is mountable to and demountable from the body case (2); and a collection and analysis member (5) which is housed within the housing case (14), collects contaminants contained in air flowing through the air flow passage (7), and is mountable to and demountable from the body case (2). The housing case (14) is box-shaped and is provided with openable and closable covers (15) mounted to two surfaces of the housing case (14), the two surfaces corresponding to the surfaces of the collection and analysis member (5), which are located on the upstream and downstream sides, respectively, of the air flow passage (7). The housing case (14) and the collection and analysis member (5) are extractable as a unit from the body case (2).
