Abstract:
The present invention relates to an air purifier capable of removing or killing viruses. The present invention comprises: an electrostatic precipitator (7) using corona discharge; an ultraviolet lamp (3) which irradiates a dust collection electrode of the electrostatic precipitator (7) with ultraviolet rays to kill contaminants on the dust collection electrode; and a photocatalytic filter (4) which is provided at the rear end of the electrostatic precipitator (7) and is supplied with light from the ultraviolet lamp (3) to kill viruses, bacteria, and microbes. Therefore, the present invention can advantageously ensure virus killing or control.
