Abstract:
The present invention relates to an air purifier. An air purifier according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a total cleanliness level sensor unit for sensing the total cleanliness level of indoor air; a carbon dioxide sensor unit for sensing carbon dioxide in the indoor air; an air purifying unit including an air blowing fan and a filter member; and a control unit for controlling the operation of the air purifying unit on the basis of sensing results of the total cleanliness level sensor unit and the carbon dioxide sensor unit. The control unit may perform control such that the air volume of the air purifying unit is adjusted according to a change in the concentration of carbon dioxide detected by the carbon dioxide sensor unit. Therefore, the present invention is advantageous in that, when a user performs ventilation, the air purifying function is actively enhanced, thereby providing a smarter and more active air purifying function.
