Provided is an airbag device which can restrain an occupant on both sides of the occupant at an early stage when a vehicle is involved in a side collision, or the like.　An airbag device 10 comprises: a first side cushion 21 which expands and deploys forward so as to cover one side of an occupant 5 seated on a seat 1 of a vehicle; a second side cushion 22 which expands and deploys forward so as to cover the other side of the occupant 5; at least one inflator 12 which injects gas that causes the first side cushion 21 and the second side cushion 22 to expand; and a connecting part 26 which connects the first side cushion 21 and the second side cushion 22. In an expansion completion state where each side cushion 21, 22 has completed expansion and deployment, the connecting part 26 deploys so as to pass through a rear surface-side area 30, which is located between the seat 1 and the occupant 5 and above a seat surface of the seat 1. The connecting part draws each side cushion 21, 22 inward by being pressed by the occupant 5.
