Abstract:
A module driving device (101) is provided with: a fixed-side member (FB); a module holding body (2) capable of holding an optical module that has a lens body (LS) and an imaging element (IS); a first driving unit (DM1) for moving the module holding body (2) with respect to the fixed-side member (FB) such that the optical axis (OA) of the lens body is inclined; and a second driving unit (DM2) for rotating the module holding body (2) with respect to the fixed-side member (FB) so as to rotate about the optical axis (OA). The first driving unit (DM1) is configured by including a plurality of shape memory alloy wires (SA) disposed between the fixed-side member (FB) and a movable-side member (MB) including the module holding body (2). The second driving unit (DM2) is configured by including a plurality of shape memory alloy wires (SA) disposed between the fixed-side member (FB) and the movable-side member (MB).
