Abstract:
An embodiment provides an airport robot comprising: an image capturing unit for capturing image information on people waiting for boarding who are located in a gate area different from a gate area for boarding of a configured airplane scheduled for a flight; an image recognition unit for recognizing, by image-processing the image information, a person for boarding, among the people waiting for boarding, the face image of whom matches that of a person for ticket issuance who has been issued with a ticket for the airplane scheduled for a flight; and a control unit for outputting movement route information upon the recognition of the person for boarding such that the person for boarding moves to the gate area for boarding.
