Abstract:
Provided is an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition which has excellent impact resistance without requiring the inclusion of any resin other than the ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer and which has excellent adhesion strength, the resin composition comprising an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer (A), an aliphatic carboxylic acid (B), an aliphatic carboxylic acid metal salt (C) that is a metal salt of the aliphatic carboxylic acid (B), and an alkali metal compound (D), wherein the metal of the aliphatic carboxylic acid metal salt (C) is at least one element selected from among the elements belonging to the d block of the fourth period of the long-form periodic table, and the contents on weight basis of the aliphatic carboxylic acid (B), the aliphatic carboxylic acid metal salt (C), and the alkali metal compound (D) satisfy the following relations (1) and (2).
