Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are an alias management method and device, relating to the field of communications, for solving the problem in the prior art that alias dynamic management cannot be realized. The specific solution is as follows: an alias management functional entity receives a management request message sent by a first client, the management request message comprising the identifier of a user and information concerning the alias requested to be managed, and when the user has an alias management right, the alias management functional entity sends a management response message to the first client, the management response message comprising the identifier of the user and information concerning the successfully managed alias. The abovementioned management may be one or more of registration, activation, deactivation, takeover, etc. The embodiments of the present application are used in alias management.
