The present invention provides: an all solid state battery composition which has excellent active material and electrolyte dispersibility and adhesive properties, from which a molded body and a coating film of high strength can be obtained, and which enables production of a high-capacity all solid state battery with low electrode resistance; and an all solid state battery using the all solid state battery composition. The present invention is an all solid state battery composition to be used in an all solid state battery, said all solid state battery composition comprising: an active material and/or a solid electrolyte; a polyvinyl acetal resin; and an organic solvent, wherein the average degree of polymerization of the polyvinyl acetal resin is 5,000-10,000.
