Abstract:
Disclosed by the present invention is an aluminum battery, a positive electrode of the battery being an expanded graphite film: using a mixture of 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride and aluminum trichloride, or a mixture of triethylamine hydrochloride and aluminum trichloride, as an electrolyte; assembling button and soft pack batteries according to the principle of non current collection. The expanded graphite used in the present invention is low in price, convenient for electrode formation, and greatly reduces the costs of a power battery. Meanwhile, the expanded graphite anode material may also greatly improve the specific capacity and rate performance of the power battery, and has the potential to replace a power lithium-ion battery.
