Abstract:
An aluminum casting method in which molten aluminum (12) pumped up by an electromagnetic pump (20) is poured into a mold (50), wherein the thickness of a powder release agent applied to the mold (50) is set to be smaller than the thickness of a release agent in a gravity mold casting method, the temperature of the mold immediately before pouring is controlled to be within the range of 110-250°C, and the temperature of the melt during pouring is controlled to a value obtained by adding 20-55°C to the liquidus temperature of aluminum.
