Abstract:

An analog input device comprises a scanner circuit (3) including a first insulating transformer (T1) for insulating an analog signal inputted from a thermocouple (10), a power supply section (2) for charging a test voltage used for disconnection inspection of the thermocouple (10), a second insulating transformer (T2) to which the scanner circuit (3) and the power supply section (2) are connected parallel, and a control circuit (8) for outputting a pulse signal inputted into the second insulating transformer (T2). The second insulating transformer (T2) insulation-transmits a drive pulse (41) for switching the scanner circuit (3), and a power supply pulse (42) for feeding power to the power supply section (2). The control circuit (8) controls the timings so as not to output the drive pulse (41) and the power supply pulse (42) simultaneously. With this, no insulating transformer for applying a test voltage is needed, the number of component of the whole device is significantly decreased, the manufacturing cost is lowered, and the size is reduced.
