Abstract:
An analytical threshold generation device (100) that comprises a threshold computation unit (41) that generates pairs of thresholds for the pulse width of pulses included in a received light level signal (JS) or pairs of thresholds for the pulse amplitude of the pulses. The analytical threshold generation device (100) also comprises a threshold correction unit (46) that, on the basis of the pairs of thresholds generated by the threshold computation unit (41) and of count values that have been outputted by a pulse counting unit (34), generates a pair of thresholds that is to be used for analysis. Each time the pulse counting unit (34) counts a pulse, until reaching a prescribed value, the threshold computation unit (41) iteratively generates a new pair of thresholds in which at least one of the pair of thresholds has been changed.
