Abstract:
A compound represented by general formula (1) or possible stereoisomers and optical isomers thereof, and medicinally acceptable salts of these compounds, wherein R1 represents SR6 or NHR7; R6 represents C1-C6 alkyl, etc.; R7 represents hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or nitro; R2 and R3 represent each hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl, etc., R4 represents hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or an amidino group wherein the amino group may be substituted by alkyl or nitro; R5 represents hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl; Y1, Y2, Y3 and Y4 represent each independently hydrogen, halogen, C1-C6 alkyl, etc., and n and m represent each an integer of 0 or 1. These compounds have a potent activity of inhibiting nitrogen monoxide synthases and are useful as a remedy for cerebrovascular disorder.
