Abstract:
This antenna system to be used for a frequency of 1GHz or higher is provided with: a laminate comprising a plurality of high-frequency transmissive layers that are in contact with each other with an interface therebetween and that allow transmission therethrough of a high-frequency; and an antenna circuit board that includes a high-frequency insulating layer, that is disposed adjacently to the outermost one of the high-frequency transmissive layers in the laminate, and that receives a high-frequency having transmitted through the laminate. When εn denotes the dielectric constant of an n-th layer (n is an integer of 1 or more) of the plurality of high-frequency transmissive layers, λ denotes the wavelength of a high-frequency entering the laminate, and Lnmin denotes the thickness of the n-th layer in the case where the intensity of a reflected wave from the laminate, obtained as the intensity of a synthetic wave of reflected waves from the obverse surface, reverse surface, and joint interfaces of the laminate, becomes a local minimum, the thickness of the n-th layer Ln is within a range of Lnmin±λ/(10√εn).
