Abstract:
A particle size estimation device 10 includes a sound sensor 14 and an information processing unit 15. The sound sensor 14 is positioned near a prescribed piece of equipment 11. The prescribed piece of equipment 11 handles particles to be measured. The sound sensor 14 collects collision sounds when particles containing a plurality of particles are caused to collide with the prescribed piece of equipment 11. The information processing unit 15 executes estimation related to the size of the particles, on the basis of the sound collected by the sound sensor 14.
