Abstract:
Provided is an anti-rust coating composition containing cement, a polymer, a water-reducing agent, nitrite, and water, wherein the water-reducing agent is at least one type of substance selected from the group consisting of a naphthalenesulfonic acid-based water-reducing agent, a melaminesulfonic acid-based water-reducing agent, a ligninsulfonic acid-based water-reducing agent, and a polycarboxylic acid-based water-reducing agent. This anti-rust coating composition is for obtaining an anti-rust coating film by curing said composition and subsequently applying a top coating material thereon. With the present invention, it is possible to provide an anti-rust coating composition that has a low initial viscosity and facilitates coating or the like, while not causing liquid dripping as the viscosity thereof increases with time, thereby making it possible to easily control the film thickness.
