Abstract:
Provided are a modified filamentous fungus that exhibits an enhanced protein productivity, and a method for producing protein using this modified filamentous fungus. The modified filamentous fungus expresses an ACE3 modification wherein this ACE3 modification is a modification in which substantially all of the Zn(II)2Cys6-type DNA binding domain of ACE3 has been deleted. The protein production method comprises culturing this modified filamentous fungus.
