Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to provide an antibacterial molded article that allows for increased options for the material and shape of the molded article, as well as a method for manufacturing the same. This objective is achieved through an antibacterial molded article that comprises a plastic molded article, the plastic molded article comprising, on a surface thereof that is subject to contact with bacteria, a rough region in which the arithmetic mean average roughness Ra of a roughness curve for the same, as specified in JIS B 0601 (2013), is 0.14 μm to 0.72 μm.
