Abstract:
Provided is an antiviral composition capable of forming a composition, which exerts antiviral properties and has a high transparency, on the surface of a member. This antiviral composition contains, as an active ingredient, silver nanoparticles on the surface of which a protective agent is adsorbed and which have a dispersed particle size of 1000 nm or less and a primary particle size of 500 nm or less, said antiviral composition having an antiviral activity value in the dark of greater than 0.3 as specified in JIS R1756:2020 and a positive antiviral activity value under light irradiation as specified in JIS R1756:2020.
