Description:
APPARATUSFORHANGINGGARMENTSUCHASTROUSERS.

Technical background. The invention concern apparatus for hanging garment such as trousers, consisting of a supporting frame and a hanging unit that rests on the supporting frame. The garment is supported by sets of two parallel roads that extend form a load bearing bar of the supporting frame.

Background of the invention.

Garment such as trousers are hung up or/and displayed and stored in various ways. In presentation of clothing in stores, the display of the clothing is often very important.

There are mainly known three methods, i.e. hanging them out on traditional coathanger on a rail, use of horizontal bars or folding them up onto shelves.

The use of various types of horizontal bars is for instance known from US. Patent nr. 5,535,896, US. Patent nr. 4,360,109, UK Patent Application 2 036 552 and UK Patent Specification 1 440 133. The use of coathanger that support the trousers by the belt loops is also known from PCT Application WO 96/08988 and FR Patent Specification 2 658 406.

It is an advantage how well the coathanger shows the style of trousers, but on the other hand it is an disadvantage how much space row of trousers hanged onto a hanging rail takes. It can be difficult to find the right size of trousers when the trousers are hanged one in front of the other and that can also be difficult to arrange them at the right place after they have been tried on. It can therefor also be some work for the staff in the store in the end of a busy day. This is also the case in use of the horizontal bars.

It is also an advantage that by stacking the trousers onto the shelves a lot of more trousers could be arranged. On the other hand the disadvantage of the

stacking in shelves is how badly such presentation exhibits the trousers, it can be difficult for buyers to arrange the trousers back and often it is necessary to rearrange every trousers back in the shelve in the end of the day. This presentation is therefor very demanding for the staff in shops and does not exhibits the trousers well enough.

General description of the invention.

The aim of the invention described herein is to set fort hanging unit for garment such as trousers which is simple in use, approachable for both the customers and the salesperson, takes up little space and exhibits the trousers well.

The aim is achieved according to the invention by that the hanging unit is unique in the way that the hanging unit, being sets of two parallel roads that extend from a load bearing bar of the supporting frame and the belt loops of the trousers are treaded onto the rods to support the trousers.

Furthermore the invention is unique in the way that each supporting frame can carry one or more load bearing bars each with one or more sets of parallel rods on which one ore more pair of trousers can be supported.

Finally the parallel rods can extend horizontally or nearly horizontally from each load bearing bar of the supporting frame and the fasteners of the rods to the load bearing bar are adjustable in such a way that the distance between each two parallel bars is variable.

More detailed description of the invention.

The invention is described in more details with reference to the enclosed figures where:

Figure 1 shows hanging unit for one pair of trousers,

Figure 2 shows a row of trousers hanging on the hanging unit on a supporting frame,

Figure 3 shows one version of the hanging unit.

Figure 4 shows how the belt loops are treaded onto the hanging unit.

Figure 5 shows one pair of trousers on the hanging unit.

Figure 1 shows the hanging unit (1) that comprises of a pair of pins (2) that are fastened by adjustable fastening (6) to a bar (7) of the supporting frame of the unit.

As shown on figure 2 it is possible to put a large number of trousers onto the hanging unit. The trousers are treaded trough the belt loops (10) of the trousers (4) onto the pins (2). The pins (2) are fastened with adjustable fastening means to the rail (7) of the supporting frame (3) that holds up one ore more rails (7).

Figure 3 shows in more details arrangement of the pins (2) on the rail (7) of the supporting frame (7). The fasting means (6) of the pins (2) are adjustable so it is possible to move the along the rail (7).

Figure 4 and 5 shows in more details how the belt loops (10) of the trousers (4) are treaded onto the rods (2) of the hanging unit. On figure 5 there is showed only one pair of trousers. This is of course no limitation and it is estimated that up to 10-15 pairs of trousers can easily be placed on each pair of rods (2).

The invention can be amended and altered to various ways f.ex. by different arrangement of the adjustments of the pins their vertical heights, slant or shape for instance by preparing the ends in a different manner than showed on the above mentioned figures. Furthermore it is possible to arrange the

supporting frame in many ways , all without diverging from the main idea of the invention.
