Abstract:

An apparatus for inducing single-side leaf photosynthesis, comprising: a leaf chamber, a circulation pump, a carbon dioxide provision apparatus, a carbon dioxide absorption tank, a carbon dioxide detection apparatus, a small number of valves, and an organic tube. The leaf chamber consists of organic glass (1) and a sealing ring (19). A detachable artificial light source (5) is mounted on the periphery of the leaf chamber. The circulation pump (9) is connected to the leaf chamber by means of the organic tube. The carbon dioxide detection apparatus consists of a carbon dioxide concentration detection probe (3) and a carbon dioxide detector (7), which are connected by means of an optical fiber. The carbon dioxide concentration detection probe (3) is place in the leaf chamber. The artificial light source (5) is used to control the stomas on a certain side of a leaf of a plant to be basically closed, so as to effectively induce the single-side leaf photosynthesis the plant. The circulation pump (9) ensures that the carbon dioxide concentrations on both two sides of the plant leaf in the leaf chamber are completely the same, thereby preventing uneven carbon dioxide concentrations caused by inconsistent photosynthesis intensity on two sides.
