Abstract:

This invention provides an apparatus for molding a molding flask-free upper casting mold and lower casting mold that can mold substantially even-density upper casting mold and lower casting mold. In a molding sand squeeze mechanism in which a plurality of upper squeeze feet and lower squeeze feet of upper squeeze means and lower squeeze means are provided, in such a manner that input and output are possible, in an opening, which holds a match plate provided between an upper molding flask and a lower molding flask and is located opposite to the match plate in the upper molding flask and the lower molding flask, and a part between a position where the upper molding flask and the lower molding flask are horizontal and a position where the upper molding flask and the lower molding flask are vertical, is supported rotatably in the forward or reverse direction within a vertical plane about a support shaft, the upper squeeze means and the lower squeeze means have squeeze foot drive means for regulating the position of the plurality of upper squeeze feet and lower squeeze feet for providing the state of filling of molding sand blown into a molding space by the spacing between the match plate and the plurality of upper squeeze feet and lower squeeze feet which face the match plate.
