Abstract:
Disclosed are an aqueous agent and powder of a Gemini-type shale inhibitor for water-based drilling fluids, preparation methods therefor, and an inhibitor. After adding the Gemini-type shale inhibitor for water-based drilling fluids to a water-based drilling fluid, excess negative charges in clay can be neutralized by cations, and hydroxy groups contained in molecules form multiple hydrogen bonds with oxygen atoms on the surface of the clay, thereby enhancing the adhesion effect thereof and preventing water molecules from penetrating into a crystal layer of the clay and causing hydration, so that the aim of inhibiting the swelling of clay minerals when same encounter water is achieved. In general, the Gemini-type shale inhibitor for water-based drilling fluids has an enhanced inhibiting effect, and also has the effect of adsorbing and neutralizing cations and the effect of adhering multiple hydrogen bonds of hydroxy groups; furthermore, same has a good dispersibility and a good long-term stability, can still significantly maintain the inhibition of the hydration and swelling of clay after repeated scouring, and has a stable chemical structure, and an excellent temperature resistance and salt tolerance.
