Abstract:
An arc extinguish chamber of an air circuit breaker comprises two arc separation walls (2) and arc chutes (1) mounted in the arc separation walls, the two arc separation walls being connected together. The arc extinguish chamber further comprises an extension plate (3), the extension plate is located between the two arc separation walls, and the two arc separation walls can be connected together via the extension plate. The extension plate may comprise a first extension plate (31) and a second extension plate (32) independent of each other, the first extension plate and the second extension plate connecting and fixing two ends between separation plates (22) of the two arc separation walls. According to the arc extinguish chamber of the air circuit breaker, extension plates are added between two arc separation walls, the two arc separation walls can be spliced with the extension plates having different widths to change the width between the two arc separation walls so as to adapt to buses having different widths, thereby improving the universality of the arc separation walls of the arc extinguish chamber, reducing the mold opening difficulty and period of the arc extinguish chamber, and reducing the development and production costs.
