Abstract:
The problem of the present invention is to provide an implement for arm control training that includes a sense of play for children with autism spectrum disorder, who require continuous exercise such as raising of the arms. This problem is solved by an arm control training implement for children with autism spectrum disorder, the implement having a plurality of contacts 2-8 made up of approximate spheres made of an elastic material and having a diameter of 100-200 mm, a contact holding means for holding the contacts 2-8, a light emission means located inside a contact 13, and a control part for controlling the light emission means. The contacts 2-8 have protrusions on all or a portion of the surfaces thereof and have suction pads on all or a portion of the surfaces thereof. This invention enables arm control training that includes a sense of play for children with autism spectrum disorder, and improves coordination such as balance and posture control without provoking resistance to or emotional agitation toward the training.
