Abstract:
Provided is an energy efficient armature for an electric motor. A stator (3) has a core (12) and wiring (4). The core (12) has a plurality of slots and a plurality of teeth formed between the slots. The wiring (4) has a plurality of element wires. The wiring comprises coils (4a-4h) and connecting portions (4p-4v) that connect the coils (4a-4h). The coils (4a-4h) are wound around a plurality of teeth. The connecting portions (4-4v) connect coils (4a-4h). The connecting portions are twisted to compensate for uneven wiring.
