Abstract:
This aromatic polycarbonate satisfies, when a test piece thereof having a size of 127 mm × 12.7 mm × 0.8 mm is elongated at a rate of 0.005 sec-1 at 280°C, conditions (i) and (ii) regarding an index of a change in elongation viscosity, and has a MFR of 1.5-4.5 (g/10 min) at 300°C under a load of 1.2 kg. In an interval A (interval of 0.30-0.80 seconds after start of elongation), the index of the change in elongation viscosity represented by formula (1) (log10(elongation viscosity [Pa·s] at 0.80 seconds)-log10(elongation viscosity [Pa·s] at 0.30 seconds)) / (log100.80-log100.30) is 0.10-0.30. In an interval B (interval of 3.0-8.0 seconds after start of elongation), the index of the change in elongation viscosity represented by formula (2) (log10( elongation viscosity [Pa·s] at 8.0 seconds)-log10( elongation viscosity [Pa·s] at 3.0 seconds))/(log108.0-log103.0) is 0.70-1.1.
