Abstract:
Provided is an article feeding device 200 that feeds an article to a transport shuttle 14 moving on an article carrying part 10. The article feeding device includes: an article supply part 20, an article feeding part 21 for feeding an article Pc; a transfer lane 22 for moving the article Pc; and a control device 800. The article Pc moving on the transfer lane 22 is held by the transport shuttle 14 at a transfer section R1 at the front end of the transfer lane 22 in the transport direction. The control device 800 controls the article feeding part 21 such that the article Pc reaches the transfer section R1 at the same speed as the speed of the transport shuttle 14 in the transport direction, at the time when the transport shuttle 14 reaches the transfer section R1.
