Abstract:
Provided is an article management device which manages the position of an article accurately and at low cost. The article position management device comprises an input unit and a specifying unit. The input unit inputs image data from a camera device. If the camera device is a mobile camera device, the specifying unit specifies the position of an article on the basis of an article marker affixed to an article, and a reference point marker which contains predetermined coordinate information in an absolute coordinate system within a field, contained in image data. If the camera device is a fixed camera device, the specifying unit specifies the position of the article on the basis of an article marker contained in image data.
