Abstract:
Provided are an assembly method and an assembly device capable of identifying, from among a plurality of overlapping regions, an overlapping region that requires adjustment. In this assembly method for assembling a bulkhead (30) to an outer liner (11) by fitting the bulkhead (30) into the outer liner (11) in a prescribed position, the bulkhead (30) having a plurality of through-holes (32a) formed in a circumferential direction, with an axis (Xb) as a central axis, and the outer liner (11) having a plurality of through-holes (11a) formed in a circumferential direction, with an axis (Xo) as a central axis, a computer executes: a size detection step for detecting a size of an overlapping region between each corresponding through-hole (11a) and through-hole (32a), with the bulkhead (30) fitted into the outer liner (11); and an overlapping region identification step for identifying, on the basis of the sizes of all the overlapping regions, overlapping regions in which a positional relationship between the through-hole (11a) and the through-hole (32a) requires adjustment.
