Abstract:
Provided is a machining tolerance evaluating system capable of reducing, at least, reworking costs, by obtaining and displaying an appropriate tolerance range with which a metal machined product can be manufactured. The machining tolerance evaluating system comprises an on-site computer for holding manufacturing process data, and a machining tolerance evaluation computer 30 connected to the on-site computer 20 by way of a communication means, wherein the machining tolerance evaluation computer 30 comprises: a machining tolerance width evaluation calculating block 31 for acquiring the manufacturing process data from the on-site computer, and obtaining an upper limit machining tolerance and a lower limit machining tolerance of a machining tolerance on the basis of the acquired manufacturing process data and shape design data of a workpiece; a theoretical machining error calculating block 32 for obtaining a theoretical machining error of the workpiece, calculated from a physical analysis; and a tolerance range displaying and calculating block 33 for reflecting the upper limit machining tolerance and the lower limit machining tolerance obtained by the machining tolerance width evaluation calculating block 31 in the theoretical machining error obtained by the theoretical machining error calculating block 32, to obtain and display a manufacturable tolerance range.
