Title:
AUDIBLE ALARM SYSTEM TO PREVENT EARTHING IN HIGH-VOLTAGE CELLS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2002080124
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a system that is intended to complement the standard optical indicator (9) which signals the presence of voltage in the high-voltage line (2). The inventive system comprises an audible alarm (1) which is powered from the actual high-voltage line (2) via a resistive and/or capacitive bushing or connector. The feed circuit of the audible alarm (1) is provided with a microswitch (4) which is normally open and which is activated by the control device (5) of the earthing isolator of the cell. In this way, at the time of the connection of said control device (5) and before the isolator is activated, the circuit of the audible alarm (1) closes and the subsequent activation of said alarm indicates to the operator that the operation must be interrupted and the voltage in the line (2) eliminated.
