Abstract:

A component-packaged tape (2) is conveyed to a pitch-feeding mechanism section (93) by a tape conveyance apparatus (30), and held by a first tape holding section (95) at a tape holding/releasing apparatus (70). A top tape (22) adhered to a carrier tape (21) that is conveyed to the pitch-feeding mechanism section (93) is clamped at its tip section (22a), peeled off the carrier tape (21) at a top tape peeling-off section (95d) and moved to a top tape send-out mechanism section (97), and then held by a second tape holding section (98) at the tape holding/releasing apparatus (70). As a result, the tapes (21, 22) can be reliably set automatically on the mechanism sections (93, 97) respectively with a simple and low-cost configuration, and the time required for setting the tapes can be greatly shortened compared to when setting the tapes manually.
