Abstract:
A control device 115 of this automatic analysis device 1 is configured to assess, from a pressure value provided by a pressure sensor 202b, whether there is anything wrong with dispensing operation, and further assesses, from a capacitance value detected by a capacitance detection mechanism 117b, whether or not a reagent dispensing nozzle 116b has reached the fluid level of a reagent after said nozzle stopped descending, and then determines, from the results of assessment on the presence/absence of an abnormality in pressure and fluid-level detection assessment, as to what process is to be performed on a container of said reagent. This configuration provides both an automatic analysis device and a reagent dispensing method that enable an operator to cut short troubleshooting time as compared with conventional devices and methods.
