Abstract:
Disclosed is an automatic analyzer which includes a reagent probe and a reagent container transport mechanism, to at least any one of which a position sense mechanism is applied, thereby providing control so as not to move at least any one of the reagent probe and the reagent container transport mechanism or prohibiting a reset operation (initialization) thereof. This allows the automatic analyzer with a reagent transfer mechanism for automatically replacing the reagent container to have the height of movement of the reagent transfer mechanism which is flush with various units including the reagent probe, whereby the automatic analyzer is freed from operational problems while the size thereof can be reduced.
