Abstract:

An automatic door closing hinge which can be installed in a double swing door and can perform buffering by means of an air damper. A double swing door equipped with the automatic door closing hinge is also provided. The automatic door closing hinge (1) is arranged such that a ball (43) engages, at an opposing position, with a circumferentially continuous cam groove (35) substantially V-shaped at a position opposing the outer circumferential surface of an operating rod in a cylinder (2), the ball (43) engages with a compression ring (4) urged downward by the recovery force of a compression coil spring (5), and movement of the ball (43) withrespect to the cam groove (35) is interlocked with up/down motion of the compression ring (4). Furthermore, a ball (65) engages, at an opposing position, with a cam groove (36) of the substantially same shape as that of the cam groove (35) and formed on the underside thereof, the ball (65) engages with a piston (6), movement of the ball (65) with respect to the cam groove (36) is interlocked with up/down motion of the piston (6), and air on the underside of the piston (6) in the cylinder (2) is made to gradually flow out as the piston (6) lowers.
