Title:
AUTOMATIC LIQUID FRACTIONATION APPARATUS FOR COLUMN CHROMATOGRAPHY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/080351
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an automatic liquid fractionation apparatus for column chromatography. According to the present invention, the automatic liquid fractionation apparatus comprises: a microtube loading unit for loading a plurality of microtubes that accommodate liquids fractionated according to column chromatography; a liquid supply unit which sequentially supplies the liquids to the plurality of microtubes; a light source unit which is provided on the rear side of the plurality of microtubes to irradiate light; an image acquisition unit which is provided on the front side of the plurality of microtubes and acquires images of the microtubes at predetermined time intervals while column chromatography is in progress; a volume determination unit which analyzes the images of the microtubes acquired by the image acquisition unit, extracts liquid heights of the accommodated liquids, and determines whether the liquids accommodated in the microtubes have reached target volumes, on the basis of the extracted liquid heights; and a control unit which sets a reference value for determining whether the target volumes have been reached, and controls the operation of the liquid supply unit and the image acquisition unit according to the determination result of the volume determination unit.
