In an automobile pneumatic radial tire according to the present invention, the relationship between a tire cross sectional width (SW) and a tire outer diameter (OD) is optimized. A method of using the automobile pneumatic radial tire according to the present invention includes using the automobile pneumatic radial tire at not less than a certain internal pressure.
