Abstract:
An autonomous driving system (100) comprises: a recognition unit (31B) that recognizes an obstacle on the basis of image data obtained through imaging, by an infrared camera (30) installed at a specific location in an external environment of an autonomously driven vehicle, of a specific region that includes a roadway on which the autonomously driven vehicle is traveling; a characteristic quantity distribution creation unit (21B) that creates a characteristic quantity distribution that represents the distribution of characteristic quantities relating to obstacles recognized in the past; and a misrecognition determination unit (21C) that compares the created characteristic quantity distribution and a characteristic quantity of an obstacle recognized as a subject for evaluation and determines a misrecognition of the obstacle recognized as a subject for evaluation.
