Abstract:
The present invention relates to an auxiliary device for peritoneal dialysis, comprising: holding means for holding a catheter or performing the function of an ostomy pouch for stoma patients; supporting means having a through-hole defined in the center thereof through which an inlet portion of the holding means is mounted and projects; covering means, in which a through-hole corresponding to the through-hole of the supporting means is defined, and which is correspondingly coupled above the supporting means; and belt means including a pressing portion coupled to the supporting means for pressing against the supporting means, and a fastening portion extending from either side of the pressing portion and fastening together. With the above-configured auxiliary device of the present invention, after the belt means is used to press and secure the supporting means and the cover means against the body of a patient, the fastening portion of the belt means is fastened together to complete the deployment of the auxiliary device for peritoneal dialysis. With the auxiliary device thus worn, impurities, moisture, etc. can be prevented from infiltrating the catheter or the body of the patient, enabling the patient to bathe freely at will and preventing the occurrence of problems due to bathing.
