Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a backlash amount measurement device for measuring the backlash amount of a power transmission means. The backlash amount measurement device according to the present disclosure is provided with: a rotation control unit for performing rotation processing of rotating, by a prescribed amount, a servomotor connected to an instrument via a power transmission means; a waveform data acquisition unit for performing waveform data acquisition processing of acquiring waveform data for when the servomotor rotates by a prescribed amount in the rotation control; an assessment unit for performing assessment processing of assessing, on the basis of the waveform data acquired by the waveform data acquisition processing, whether the rotation of when the servomotor rotates by a prescribed amount in the rotation control is being transmitted to the instrument; and a calculation unit. If the assessment unit assesses in the assessment processing that the rotation of the servomotor is not being transmitted to the instrument, the calculation unit causes iterative processing, in which search processing is repeatedly performed, to be performed, the search processing comprising the rotation processing performed by the rotation control unit, the waveform data acquisition processing performed by the waveform data acquisition unit, and the assessment processing performed by the assessment unit. If the assessment unit assesses in the assessment processing that the rotation of the servomotor is being transmitted to the instrument, the calculation unit stops the iterative processing and calculates, as the backlash amount, the total amount, in the iterative processing, of the rotation amount by which the rotation control unit caused the servomotor to rotate in the rotation processing.
