Abstract:
Provided are a ball joint and a dust cover that make it possible to keep a body part of the dust cover from contacting the vicinity of a flange part of a ball stud. A dust cover 400 that is characterized by integrally comprising a deformable, bellows-shaped body part 410 that is made of an elastic body, a fixing part 420 that is made of an elastic body and is provided to one end side of the body part 410, and a seal part 430 that is made of an elastic body and is provided to the other end side of the body part 410, wherein the seal part 430 comprises: an inner peripheral seal part 432 that can slide, with a flange part 140 therebetween, at a part of a shaft part 120 that is on the opposite side from a spherical part 110; and a cover part 432 that continuously covers an outer wall surface of the flange part 140 at a radial-direction-outside tip end section and at one portion of a part that becomes smaller in diameter from the tip end section toward the spherical part 110.
