Abstract:
Provided is a ball screw device having a structure in which a screw shaft is rotated and driven via a planetary speed reduction mechanism, wherein the number of components is reduced and assemblability is improved. A screw shaft (2) includes: a screw portion (11) having on an outer circumferential surface thereof a spiral-shaped shaft-side ball screw groove (13); and a fitting shaft portion (12). A carrier (5) constituting a planetary speed reduction mechanism (8) is secured so as to be incapable of rotating relative to the fitting shaft portion (12). An inner ring raceway (28) constituting a rolling bearing (6) for rotatably supporting the carrier (5) is formed directly on the outer circumferential surface of the carrier (5).
