Abstract:

A ball seat fixing structure for a ball joint (J1) according to the present invention has: a ball stud (10) in which a metal ball part (10b) is integrally joined to the other end portion of a stud part (10s) of which one end portion is connected to a suspension or a stabilizer; a metal housing (21) having a space that supports a ball part (10b) in a swingable and rotatable manner and has one open side; and a resin ball seat (22) interposed between the housing (21) and the ball part (10b), wherein the ball part (10b) covered by the ball seat (22) is included in the housing (21). A C-ring (24) set on the ball seat (22) in the housing (21) and an O-ring (54) set on the C-ring (24) to protrude from the housing (21) are provided, and a corner between the O-ring (54) and the housing (21) is laser-welded.
