Title:
METHOD FOR GENERATING PATHOLOGICAL CONDITION INFORMATION, SYSTEM FOR GENERATING PATHOLOGICAL CONDITION INFORMATION, HE4 SUGAR CHAIN ANALYSIS KIT AND HE4
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/203478
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a method for generating pathological condition information, whereby the acquisition, onset, malignant grade, etc. of cancer such as ovarian caner are easily and non-invasively evaluated and thus the cancer can be diagnosed while reducing burden on both a patient and a doctor; a system for generating pathological condition information; and an HE4 sugar chain analysis kit. The method according to the present invention for generating pathological condition information, said method being for generating information relating to the acquisition or onset of cancer, is characterized by comprising: a first step for acquiring information relating to the amount of HE4 that has any of four kinds of residues, i.e., a β-N-acetylgalactosamine residue, an α2,3-sialic acid residue, an α2,6-sialic acid residue and a mannose residue, contained in a test specimen; and a second step for generating information relating to the acquisition or onset of cancer in the subject, who provides the test specimen, depending on the amount of HE4 that has any of the four kinds of residues as described above.
